Brand identity, Art Direction


Aina is a coffee and gelato shop inspired by the meaning of the word "aina," which translates to "land." However, its significance goes deeper, symbolizing the land as a source of sustenance, a sacred entity, and a connection to one's heritage and culture. With this thought in mind, the brand identity incorporates typography that blends both curvature and sharp, straight cuts. This reflects the natural origins of coffee, paired with the human-driven technology used in its brewing. The fluidity in the illustrative typography and design contrasts with the more structured elements, bringing warmth and depth to the brand.
